Looking for showcases of great photography on the web! Specifics inside. I’m on the hunt for blogs/Tumblrs/what-have-you, that showcase interesting photography by various artists, but I’m happy to take artist websites, too. I'd prefer for the art to speak for itself, but I'd be fine with an artist statement, bio, or interview here or there.
I’m interested in mainly street photography, urban landscapes, documentary photography, and also more conceptual fine art. I’m also happy with portraiture, still life, night photography, and some nature work.
I’m not interested in sweeping landscapes that were taken on the most photogenic island in the world from a helicopter, sunrise city vistas taken from the 274th floor, fashion/beauty editorials, babies, weddings, wildlife, sports, macro, food, or product photography.
Looking at pictures that could have been taken outside my door is really inspiring, and reminds me just how profoundly an artist can transform an every day person, place, or thing just by having an artistic viewpoint and statement.
